A few weeks ago we went to Island Park with Matt's family. We stayed in this awesome cabin with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms! It was perfect! We had so much fun! Matt and I were the first ones there because I had never been to Yellowstone and I wanted to make sure I got to see everything! The first day we were there we went straight to Old Faithful. We were there for a few hours just doing little hikes and seeing all of the geysers.
The next day we all went and floated the Snake River. Since there were about 20 of us we had 2 rafts and a canoe. It took us a few hours but it was fun. We had k=lunch and definitely had some good laughs:) While we were floating down the river we saw 2 moose. A cow moose and a huge bull moose. They were across the river from eachother so we were a little nervous floating between them but is was really cool to see them that close in the wild!
On Saturday we were going into Yellowstone, but a few of us stopped at the Bear and wolf museum on the way. It was neat to see the bears and the wolves. Of course Matt loved it:)
So we all met up after the museum to head into Yellowstone. We decided to start with Old Faithful but on our way up we got stuck in traffic for what seemed like ever! After awhile we found out that the road was closed because Pres. Obama decided to go see Old Faithful the same time we wanted to! So we turned our caravan around and go check out some other geysers first.
So after kinda a long day of waiting in traffic and seeing some geysers everyone kinda had different ideas of what they wanted to do so everyone kind went there own ways. Me, Matt, Pete, Whitney, and Isabelle decided that we had not seen enough of Yellowstone so we drove the loop and saw lots of different things. Our next stop was probably my favorite. It was the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Although it was kinda scary looking down it was so beautiful!
Next we drove through Hayden valley and saw tons of Bison! We saw Yellowstone Lake, West Thumb, and Old Faithful. Although it was a lot of driving and a little cold we still had fun. I am really glad that we got to see so much of beautiful Yellowstone!
Thanks Klc's for the great trip! I can't wait til the next one!

"It's Reunion Time"
We have had such a fun and busy August and I have so many pictures to post! Every year around the 1st of August my family on my moms side has a huge family reunion. We go up into the mountains and camp and have fun! My grandparents are usually there for a week and most everyone else show up on Friday and stay til Sunday. Well this year Matt and I were feeling a little adventurous and went up on Thursday:)
Our Family Reunion is definitely not your regular family reunion, instead of four wheelers and dirt bikes we have horses and wagon rides. Everyone loves when grandpa hooks up the team and takes us on wagon rides!
This reunion has been going on for almost 30 years and in my 26 years I have not missed one! It is one of my favorite things and even though it was FREEZING this year! I am already excited for next year:)
On Saturday we had a Volleyball tournament with about 8 teams and guess whos team won? MINE! pretty much we won because of me (ok maybe not)
I am also so proud of Matt! He won the prized medallion no inlaw has ever won it and this was only Matt's third reunion:)

The Aquarium and Zoo!
We really enjoyed this 24th of July because we got to spend it with Lexi and Brody:) We started by going to the aquarium then we went swimming and watched fireworks. We had a lot of fun and I really can not get enough of those kids!
We love the aquarium! Matt and I are now annual pass holders so if you ever want to go just let us know:)
I was seriously SO excited to see Lex and Brod and after the aquarium and swimming they wanted to watch a movie and next thing I know they were asleep! What the heck?! So after about an hour I woke them up:)
We had so much fun with them! Brody did not like the sounds of the fireworks so he kept his ears plugged most of the time. Lexi is pretty shy around people that she doesn't know but during the fireworks (I wish I had a picture) she found Whitney and decided to sit on her lap and cuddle! You must have a secret touch Whit!
Thanks Cass and John for letting us watch them!
Yesterday I decided that I wanted to go to the zoo because I had not been this year so I called my mom and me, Matt, my mom, my brother Cameron, cousin Caleb and Camerons friend Jeremy all headed to the zoo. Matt is now a volunteer at the Zoo so it was fun to hear all the things that he has learned! Thanks Matt for taking us and being our tour guide.

Tabiona 4th of July!
I know two posts in one day! Well I have been a blog slacker lately so I decided that I better catch up!
So for 4th of July my moms family all gets together in Tabby for our Max Gines Family Reunion (not to be confused with the Big Gines family reunion in August:) We all spend the weekend camping by the river and it is a blast! There is no better way to spend the 4th of July than in Tabiona! Camping, family, amazing parade:), rodeo, fireworks, and 4 wheeling! REALLY what more could you ask for?
I forgot to take pictures while we were there, but I did get some while we were at the parade. As you can tell the Tabby parade is one of a kind! I Love it!

Las Vegas and St George
A few weeks ago me, my mom, my aunt Annette, and my cousin Kami took a trip to Vegas to visit Cassi, John and my two favorite kids in the world! We had SO much fun! We spent our days at the Mandalay Bay pools and our nights hanging out on the strip and just at the house having fun! We were only there for about 2 1\2 days and I can't wait til my next trip!
So after a few days in Vegas we went to St George and met the rest of our family for the weekend. We always have so much fun when we are with Bart and Annettes family and this weekend was no different! We decided to rent a boat and headed to Sand Hollow for a day of tubing, wake boarding, and hanging out!

Tour de Cure!!
This last Saturday Matt rode in the Tour de Cure for Diabetes. He has been raising money and getting ready for the ride for the past few months and he was so excited that it was finally here. Matt was one of 1200 riders that rode in the tour. He was a red rider (a rider with diabetes) and it was just so awesome to see all the people that were there either with diabetes or there just to support their family and friends.
While Matt was on his ride me and my mom signed up as volunteers to help out where we could. Our first job was to direct traffic and tell people where to park. It really ended up being a pretty nice day, but there were a few wind and rain storm:)
Our other job was setting up and being over the family ride rest stop. This was mostly for the little kids, but it was really cool to see the little kids with diabetes riding with there brothers and sisters. It was actually a little emotional.
I barley made it when Matt finished so my picture is kinda far away. I am so proud of him! Diabetes is something that he has had to deal with since he was 2 years old. Being able to see him ride and raise money for a cure was amazing! We are really excited to get more involved in the activities the American Diabetes Association puts on. Next is "Step Out" In September:)
This is a picture of all of the "red riders". They had them all go to the front for a picture and everyone gave them a standing ovation. Again very emotional!
Matt and I just want to thank all of you that donated money to him and helped in the research and education of diabetes. It really means a lot to us. We have the most amazing friends and we are so grateful for that. Also we want to thank my mom for taking her Saturday and coming with us and helping volunteer. You are the best! We love you all and thanks so so much!

What is going on?
Ok so I know that I have been a slacker when it comes to blogging, but I don't really have a good excuse so I am just going to play catchup with this post. Well for starter, as most of you know Matt and I moved in the middle of May and we are now living in Murray. Matt parents are letting us live in there newly remodeled apartment next to there house so we have been pretty busy with that, but are pretty much all unpacked:) Second Matt and I both had birthdays (Matt 25 on 5\25 and Me 26 on 5\26) and we both had great Birthdays! Matt got an itouch and he got me a camera that I have been wanting:) We spent day going to Gateway with Andrew and Kara for lunch and shopping and then Matt and I went and saw Underwater 3D movie at the planetarium. Then later that night my parent took us to dinner and a movie.
My little brother Chris and cousin Kari graduated form highschool so we had a little family party for them.
And the last major event that has happened since I blogged last was the season finale of The Hills:( I just have to say that I am going to miss Lauren and I hate Kristin! Pete, Whitney, and Isabelle came over to watch it with us!
