As most of you know, Matt has had type 1 diabetes since he was 2 years old. It is something that he has had to deal with his entire life and will have to deal with for the rest of his life. He is able to do the things that he loves to do because he takes care of his diabetes. One thing that he loves is mountain biking and saw that the Tour de Cure was a chance to bike and take care of his diabetes. He is training right now to ride in the 70 mile ride. He has to raise at least $150.00 to support research for the American Diabetes Association. So if any of you would like to donate here is his website http://main.diabetes.org/goto/mattklc. Once you are on the website click on "click here to sponsor me" and you can donate any amount. Thank You all for your love and support.
p.s. if anyone wants to ride with Matt (or volunteer with me:), let us know!!!

Beautiful weekend!!!
So these are just some pictures form this BEAUTIFUL weekend! The first couple of pictures were taken on Saturday during our "cooking class" Me, my mom and a couple of my aunts and cousins decided that once a month we would get together and make some dinners that we can freeze. Not only has it saved us some money, but we seriously have SO much fun! This month mt aunts could not make it:( but Cassi and her family were here form St George so ot was fun having her there! So while I was having my girl day Matt was at the zoo applying to be a volunteer. I guess there are a lot of people that want to volunteer and not as many openings so we are hoping that works out for him. He needs 500 volunteer hours for Vet school plus he would love it! We also got to go to the temple on Saturday night and be there when Matt's brother Daniel took out his endowments. I love going to the temple and it is just that much better seeing someone you love get those blessings. Well that was our weekend! Oh and the last picture is of my cute brother Chris all dressed up for Prom. He is so cute!
