So last weekend we had the Gines Family Christmas party. It was so much fun! We went down to St Goerge and stayed at a cabin in Pine Valley. The party started on Friday and ended on Sunday. You would think with over 60 of us there we might get sick of eachother, but it just never seems to happen. We had so much fun from the singing, dance party, games, not so talented talent show :), food, and late night talks we just couldn't get enough! I am so grateful to have my family! We are so close and I love it! Probably my favorite thing was staying up til 1:30 am just talking to my grandpa and listening to him tell stories about him growing up. I have amazing grandparent that have gone through so much in their lives and are such great examples! I love all of you so much and thanks for the fun memories. See you at the next reunion:)

It was so much fun spending time with them and we love when they come to visit we just hope that next time it is on better circumstances. For those of you that don't know John's mom was in a repelling accident around Thanksgiving and is still in the hospital. If you want to know more about her situation they have a blog set up for her. It is prayersfortrish.blogspot.com and please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Tag- 7 Quirks
So Shauna Tagged me with this one forever ago and i didn't think that I could think of 7 quirks so I never did it. Well then Kara did it an it made me start thinking of mine. It was kinda hard at first, but then thanks to Matt, my mom, and my dad I realized that I have a few:) so here we go...
1. I only use white hangers to hang my clothes. If I run out for some reason I will just not hang uo my clothes til I get more.
2. I taste metal in weird things. Some bottled water tastes like metal to me, some forks I can not eat off of because I think they taste like metal, and the flour from the cannery. I made a few diff things with it before and they all had a metal taste to them.
3-I HATE when people try and open packages with their teeth! Teeth are jewels not tools!
4- I eat some foods weird. For example I eat pickles (whole ones) from the inside out. I love pickles but I have to take a bite and then suck all the juice and the insides out and then I eat the rest. And I pretty much eat all candy weird. Ask Matt it drives him crazy!
5- This one is not so much anymore because now I only have one round brush, but when I had two of the same brush I would have to switch using them each day because I didn't want one to feel left out. I know that is really weird.
6- I have to sleep with two pillows. One for my head and one to hug.
7- I love watching the previews at the movies. In fact I get a little annoyed if we are late and miss them. This started when I lived in St George and I am totally going to blame Heather for this one!
People that I tag: Heather , Whitney , Lacey

I have the best husband in the world and I am so grateful to have him in my life. He is my best friend and I could not imagine loving anyone more! Thanks Matt for marrying me and for putting up with me. You are so patient with me and you have helped me become a better person. These past 9 months and 10 days have been so amazing! Buster
This last week we had to put our family dog Buster to sleep. He had cancer and as you can see in the picture some pretty bad tumors. We got Buster when I was 15 and he has been a good friend for the last ten years. He would try his hardest to be as close as possible to his family. Although he looked big and mean, he was always just a puppy. The biggest threat he posed was getting slobber on your hands. He was an awesome dog and was content to just lie there next to you. When you played ball with him, he would run until he couldn't run anymore, than he would walk to get his ball. He was a great friend and we are definitely going to miss him. We love you Buster!

GO JAZZ GO!
Last Wednesday Matt and I got to go to the Jazz game and it was so fun! My parents have season tickets and they have 2 on the 3rd row and 2 on the 27 row. Usually Matt and I get the tickets on the 27th row and we are more than happy with those tickets, but this time my parents were out of town and we got to sit on the 3rd row! It was a ton of fun and hopefully we will get those tickets again (hint hint dad)
Kristin and Bridger came and even though they had to sit ALL the way up on the 27th row we got to go see them for like 30 seconds:)
So don't tell Matt but I have a pretty big crush on Kyle Korver!
On Friday night we had two of Matt's brothers and their families over to watch the game. We got a little into the 1st quarter and realized it was not going to be a good game so we decided to play Mario Cart. This is Whitney, Pete, Andrew and Kara in an intense game!
Isabelle was so funny. I went to take a picture of her and she knew just what to do! She would get the cheesiest smile on her face whenever I would take a picture of her.
While the parents were taking there turn on the wii Matt and I got to play with the kids. I decided that since me and Isabelle both like the camera we would take pictures of ourselves. This is like one of ten:)
Nikki and Matt were just chasing Jax around the house. Nikki loved him. She is so cute!
On Saturday night we went and hung out with my Best friend form high school Jenn and her husband Brandon and there adorable little girl Mckenna! It was so fun getting to see them! Kenna is such a cute little girl with the funnest personality! Thanks for having us over Avery's! We definitely need to hang out more!

Fun with Friends!
So this last weekend Matt and I got to watch our niece Nicole for the day and we had so much fun! Once Matt found out that we were going to be watching her he immediately planned a day at the Aquarium! It was so fun to watch Nikki get so excited when she saw all the fish, but I still think that Matt was the most excited!
Matt and Nicole with the Sting Rays.So later that night we went to my work party and sorry but I forgot to take pictures. We (Me, Kristin, and Norma) decided that we wanted to have a little work get together and make Dr. Winegar dinner for being such an amazing boss! I seriously am so lucky to not only to love my job and working with my best friend, but also to have such an awesome boss. It is good to have a boss that seriously cares about his employee's. I love working with him and Kristin and Norma. We have such a fun office!
After my work party we met up with some friends to go to a movie. We decided (we meaning the boys) that we wanted to go and see Eagle Eye and had to wait 2 hours til the next showing! So while we waited we went to the arcade and played some games. Me and Matt played skee ball and won all of these tickets!
I know that you are all very jealous of my beautiful necklace and Matts jumping frog, but you are just going to have to spend $5 on skee ball and win them yourselves!

Wow it has been longer than I thought:)
So Matt's brother Phil left to go on his Mission a couple of weeks ago. Right now he is in the MTC in Provo, but in a week or so he will be on his way to serve the people of Uganda. Although we already miss him like crazy we are so happy for him and so proud of him for choosing to go and serve. This is Matt and Phil the night that Phil got set apart.
Kissing cousins:) Isabelle and Nicole.
The worst place in the world is the MTC! I swear that place is so bitter sweet! I am so happy for all of the missionaries there, but as soon as I look at the family all sad I just start crying and then I can't stop! Phil is going to be such an awesome missionary! We have received a couple of letters from him and it is so fun to get them! He is loving it and he is so happy and it makes us happy to hear that!
After we dropped Phil off we went to the Brick Oven (You can't go to Provo and not go there) Apparently the emotional day and full stomachs wore these boy right out. They were asleep before we hit the freeway!
K so this picture is for Andrew and Kara. I didn't even know that I took this, but when it pulled up on my computer it made me smile. She is so freaking cute!
OK so last Sunday my family decided to celebrate Thanksgiving:) I know we are a little early but we just got excited I guess. We went to Tabby and had dinner with all of the Fabrizio's. It was a lot of fun playing and talking with them. The only bad part (well bad for me, Matt was pretty excited) was that on our way we ran into this! That is right SNOW! While we were driving we were just admiring all of the beautiful bright yellow and orange leaves and then we ran into snow! Matt was so excited, but I am just not ready for that yet!

Fun at the Fair!
Saturday Matt and I went to the State Fair with my parents and little brother Cameron. Although it was not the cheapest food or entertainment we had so much fun!
Luckily Matt and Cameron had each other to go on all the spinny rides on together! I did go on the Tidal wave ride with them and it is seriously a lot worse at the fair then it is at Lagoon! I was seriously scared!
Matt really wanted to go to the Tiger show and the reptile show, but things were just not working out for us. We went to the tiger show, but didn't get there early enough so we could not see. Then we went to the reptile show and they canceled it because it was too dark. But the good news is that they still had this snake out to look at and we went and saw the tigers later that night.
Yep that is right, that is me holding a real live SNAKE! My only question is WHERE THE HECK IS THE SNAKES HEAD?!
You can't go to the fair and not get a funnel cake! We had so much fun watching the Rodeo, eating the yummy food that made us sick, seeing the animals, walking around, riding the rides, and just laughing together! Thanks guys for making it so much fun! Love you!

Hanging out with the Klc girls!
So my Friday "girls day" started with me and Kara going to the CRAZY Modbe sale! There were so many people there! But it was all worth it in the end. Then we were off to meet the rest of the girls to go and get pedicures. It was fun hanging out with girls. We ended our day with dinner at the Olive Garden. We had a lot of fun and decided that it is going to have to me a monthly ritual:)
Cyd (Matt's oldest sister), Dorothy (Matt's mom), Kara (sister in-law), me, Whitney (soon to be sister in-law yay!)

Girls trip to Vegas!
Last weekend I took a road trip with some of my friends to Las Vegas. Although it was hard for me to leave Matt, I had so much fun! It started on Thursday night. Me, Carrie, And Kristin drove to St. George to pick up my cousin Cassi. We didn't get there until late so we just stayed there that night and Cassi did our hair:) We did it at my friends Heather's house and it was so fun to see her and her cute little Abrie. She has always been a good friend and is so fun to be around!Well we went to Vegas on Friday morning and spent most of the day shopping:) Then we went to see our hotel. We stayed at "The Hotel" at Mandalay Bay and it was so fun!
So after our full day of shopping we were all pretty worn out so we went and checked out the hotel and the pool and then went and got ready for dinner. Now as you can tell from the picture our getting ready for dinner was a little different than everyone else in Vegas! We all got dressed up in our PJ'S. So in our long shorts and t-shirts we kinda stood out:)
The next day we pretty much spent at the pool. Our hotel had a wave pool and a lazy river so it was nice. When we were not on our tubes floating around we were all laying out on our chairs reading our twilight books!
Saturday night was my favorite! We went and ate a PF Changs and then went and saw The Phantom of the Opera. I have been wanting to see it for years now and I was not disappointed. It was amazing! Then on Sunday we slept in and headed for home with a quick stop in St George to drop off Cassi!
It was sucha fun trip for me and I am so glad that I got to spend it with some of my BEST friends! Cassi is not only one of my best friends but my "best-identical-cousin-friend" No matter what I know that she is always there for me and I seriously have so much fun with her. I am so grateful to have a cousin and friend like her! Cassi I am so glad that you came I love you so much!
I don't even know what to say about Kristin (K-dog) We have been BFF for over 7 years now and we are still going strong. You might think that working with you friend and hanging out every chance you get and going on trips with them might be a little much, but I just nver seem to get sick of her. It is kinda scary how much alike we are. She has always been a great friend and I am glad that she helped me plan this trip!
Carrie and I have been friends for over 5 years now 4 of which we were roommates. I was so lucky that I found her! She is probably one of the only girls that I would have been able to live with for that long:) She has also been such a great friend and as cheesy as it may sound I really do hope that we will be friends forever! Well there is one more person that made this trip so much fun and that is Yanos. Although there are no pictures of Yanos she really did make the trip:) Yanos was a freind that we met in Vegas and we seemed to run into her everywhere. She was the photographer for most of our pictures and also saved us $20 by giving us her tube at the pool:) Well that was my trip to Vegas. Thanks girls for making it so much fun!

Our 24th of July weekend of fun!
Me and Matt had such a great 24th of July weekend. We got to spend the entire day together and we had so much fun! It stared with us getting to sleep in which was nice! Then we went on a hike in Little Cottonwood Canyon and it was so beautiful! We did a little hike called White Pine and then had a little picnic at the top. Then we went and saw Batman and it was AWESOME! We really liked it. After our movie we met up with Matt's brothers Phil and Alex and their girlfriends and went to dinner. It was fun hanging out with them. When those three get together all you do is laugh! They have fun together.
Later that night we went to the Klc's for fireworks. We had fun watching David and Ian give us the best firework show ever!Me, Kara, Nicole. Nicole cracks me up. She has her own little language and it is the cuttest thing ever!
Me and my cute husband having a romantic moment watching the fireworks :)On Friday after Matt got off work we headed down to St George.
Cassi, Aunt Annette, Brody
We spent most of the day on Saturday rappelling. I was not as brave as I was a few months ago so I was just in charge of taking pictures. This is John teaching my brave mom how to rappel. AHH no hands!Josh, Dad, Mom, Annette, Colten, Uncle Bart, and Me
Every time I would look at Cameron he was climbing on rocks. He loved rappelling and can hardly wait for Matt to take him rock climbing!
Colten was my model for most of my pictures :)
Josh and Dad rappelling down Cougars Cliff
That little black dot is Matt! I think that I was more scared than him!
HaHa this is Brody showing us his teeth. He would show them to me like every 5 seconds.
