Last Saturday we decided to go and have a picnic at Sugarhouse Park and fly kites. So we went to Shopko and each got a $1.50 kite. Mine was an eagle and Matts was Superman. Well It all started out good, we ate our lunch and watched the birds and then it was time to go and fly our amazing kites. Well neither one of us were very good at it and mostly it was just us running with our kites on the groud behind us. One the few times that we did get our kites up they would stay up for likr two seconds and then just nose dive to the ground. After about twenty minutes both of our kites were broken on the ground, but we did find another kite that someone left broken so we fixed it up with parts from our kites and got to play with it for a few minutes but it was not any better than ours.We did have a lot of fun and a good laugh so it was worth the three dollars that we spent on them. So all in all we had a fun day.

Glad to see that the weekend was full of productive events. Haha. We need to do something again sometime.

Andrew has been dying to fly kites! I think I'm going to cave and buy a nice one because I'm cheap and always buy the inexpensive ones that don't work!! Andrew will be so pleased.
